Description

Hydrocoll® Classic is a self-adherent absorbent hydrocolloid dressing for the treatment of noninfected exuding wounds. The hydrocolloids transform into a gel when in contact with wound exudate and form a moist environment which has a stimulating effect on granulation and epithelialisation. Epithelialization is the crucial process of repairing damaged skin or tissue by creating a new layer of epithelial cells (keratinocytes) to cover a wound.
