The BD Vacutainer Safety-Lok Blood Collection Set come with needles that can be easily shielded with one-handed activation. The BD Vacutainer is intended for blood collection and infusion procedures. Large, flexible wings of the BD Vacutainer improve entry during blood collection and infusion procedures. The translucent shield of the Vacutainer IV Catheter provides visualization of "flash back"; after needle penetrates the vein. Vacutainer IV Catheters are sterile.
