This Safe n Simple^™ 12” drainable, one-piece pouch is a standard wear pouch that features a tape collar and Velcro^® closure. Standard wear ostomy pouches are best for solid stool, following a colostomy. These pouches are less resistant to liquid, making them more likely to break down when there’s liquid stool or urine. One-piece pouches have the skin barrier and pouch pre-attached. They are less bulky and noticeable and have fewer assembly steps than two-piece pouches. To use a cut-to-fit ostomy pouch, you can measure your stoma and trace its shape onto the release paper on the back of the skin barrier. Then, you can cut out the shape with scissors.
