In a 3 year clinical trial of Complex Junior MSD conducted by The Clinic For Special Children in Lancaster, PA, 15 young children with MSUD demonstrated normal growth and development with improved metabolic control. During the study period, a large majority of catabolic illnesses were managed successfully at home. This formula was also used as part of sick day protocol for MSUD patients of all ages, resulting in fewer hospital admissions1.
