Dexcom G6 sends automatic glucose readings straight to a compatible smartphone or receiver† every five minutes. No routine finger pricks* or scanning required and you can customize your alerts so you know when you are heading high or low.
How Dexcom G6 Sensor works
- Auto-applicator: Use the applicator to apply your G6 sensor to your arm, abdomen, or upper buttocks (ages 2-17), which automatically inserts the sensor just beneath your skin.
- Sensor and transmitter: Snap the transmitter into place to get automatic glucose readings The transmitter can be reused for up to 90 days from activation.
- Display Device†: You can get your automatic glucose readings and alerts on either a receiver or a compatible smartphone and/or smartwatch†,¶ when using the Dexcom G6 app.
